Ladies and Gentlemen, listed below are the goals that I have for the Thomas County Sheriff's Office for the year 2026.  They are not in any particular order, but this is what I'm hoping to achieve for the agency next year.  I will be speaking to civic organizations about these goals throughout the year.  I will be speaking about these goals to better inform the citizens of the county of my plans for their safety and security in the coming year and also informing them where and how their tax dollars are being spent.

Complete accreditation process

Start K-9 Division

Obtain digital driver license readers

Remodel the Thomas County Jail

Rezone the county into 4 zones

NIMS training for every deputy

Upgrade laptops for the agency

Obtain Digital CaseWare management software

Replace antiquated camera system at the Judicial Center

Install fencing at the Judicial Center

Install tabletop X-ray Scanner at the Judicial Center

Detention Officer specific training

*Start CHAMPS program

*Continue with CIT training

*Force Science training

*Restart POSSE program
